Ruin our lives by holing up in our house with nothing but a bunch of firearms and a delusional conviction about not paying income tax.
Ruin (or end) the lives of thousands of others and wonder why we haven't received more thank-you notes.
Look at a bunch of CEO's who petition the President for action on climate change (because we all know CEO's are a bunch of tree-hugging moonbats), and ignore them.
Get ourselves into situations like this, which I can't even summarize here but which will make you shake your head, guaranteed.
Then again, if a victim can text-message a thief to appeal to his better instincts, and then find her stolen bag, phone, bank cards, and cash returned to her residence intact -- with an apology and promise to be a better person -- then perhaps there's still hope.
(At least until she loses her apartment, her job, and her money after she gets fired because she stopped showing up to work because she couldn't stop playing video games.)
