- Bright orange semi-automatic VW Beetle

- Chevy van - brief but first car (in which I did not live down. by. the river!)

- Light brown VW Rabbit - in which I did job #1 above and listened to a lot of mixed tapes

- Mid-80s Toyota 4Runner, which I took from 60K to 200K as it took me around Virginia many times over with a keyboard and PA in the back, and then as an encore, through the crappy Detroit commute for three years, too. That car was as close as I'll get to having a horse.
