Friday Night Double-Feature.

The Measure For Measure blog at the New York Times? The one written by a rotating cast of songwriters? You should bookmark it. Rosanne Cash tells of the story of some long-distance co-writing with Joe Henry, and a demo of the song is available as well.

From the Slow On The Uptake file ... Following up on last night's post, I wound up really liking Stranger Than Fiction. I had managed to remain oblivious regarding the depth of the cast, so that was one pleasant surprise after another. Loved the writing, the performances, and the rationale for the final twist. I think the key lesson here is, Emma Thompson doesn't do bad movies.

Speaking of bad movies, after that was over, Mrs. P found Blades Of Glory, for a Ferrell double-feature. It was not excellent.

While I don't see myself sharing banana bread in the buff at a clothing-optional B&B (and lucky for all of us, you won't, either), this article was worth checking out just to learn the word "nakation."
